--never works out the way I have it on my to-do list! There are 7 days in a week and what I have scheduled to do on Monday usually ends up completely done on Thursday. The coffee was great but the quiet is not. We have help today with our wood pile and the chain saws are just buzzin' away out there. I woke up to the dog barkin' her fool head off and realized it was almost 10AM. Really overslept today! Very grateful for the help with the wood this winter. My other half is not feeling very good this winter so our neighbors have been kind enough to come and help us keep our house warm. Soon as he feels better I'm getting out my whip and chair to get him back out there--no slackin' 'round here ya know! If I gotta work so does everybody else! Well I have to get on my work clothes and go help stack wood. Everyone have a wonderful day and share a little kindness toward others--we all need it. Worked my little fingers to the bone to get the samples done for these kits and they turned out just the way I wanted them. They will be all ready to go for the bead show in Madison next month. Now comes the printing of the instructions, bagging the beads, threading the needles--yes I do thread the needles for you, then package it all up just as nice as you please. Well I'm off to take a nap and then get up in the morning and start all over again--isn't this fun--I say yes!       Sunday Morning In My Queendom 02/12/2012
Coffee and quiet--what more could a person ask for! The sun is out, the temperature is a balmy 7 degrees with a wind chill of 7 degrees below zero and I'm inside all toasty warm--for now. I'm working up the courage to go out and fill up the wood furnace that heats our house. Today I'll be finishing up another bracelet sample and then I'm going into my shop. I have table clothes to make and haven't started them yet. Had good intentions last night but something shinny caught my eye and--well, you all know how that goes. Today is the day for table clothes--well the start anyway. The other half of the material is in so tomorrow I will go pick it up and get the job done this week. My fingers are going to be little nubs by next month but I'm getting things done. Here is another kit sample. These bracelets take some time to make but they are so cool when they are done. Kits will be ready for the bead show in March.    Break Time 02/08/2012
Three weeks until my first show of the year and I'm buried in work so its time for a break. I've been making my lists and checking them twice--and three times. Tonight I'll hopefully finish another bracelet sample and move on to making new table clothes. |
